Blue squid with beak and feathers
From Milwaukee, Wisconsin, comes the story of a rather odd sculpture:
Says Joan: “I think it is ugly.”
“To me,” adds Lee, “it is kind of an odd thing to have up there. It’s weird.”
It is. It’s a squid with feathers - although maybe that is actually calamari breading. Maybe the heat from the chimney is turning the squid into a big piece of deep-fried calamari even as we watch. That would explain the expression.
